Tsitsikamma highlights
Storms River Mouth has the suspension bridge, forest trails and ocean views. Budget 3–4 hours for the full experience.
Knysna oysters
Hit the waterfront at lunch. Oyster Co. and 34° South both serve them raw, grilled or Kilpatrick-style.
Plett beaches
Robberg Beach is the most dramatic. Central Beach is best for swimming. Lookout Beach is for surfers and sunset strolls.
Drive the N2 slowly
The N2 from Mossel Bay to Storms River is Africa's most scenic highway. Don't rush — pull over at viewpoints.
Whale watch June–Nov
