Best Time to Travel
The long dry season from June to September is the prime window for this expedition: forest trails are firmer for gorilla tracking, baï viewing is at its best and the coast offers calm seas and whales. The wet seasons bring dramatic forests and full waterfalls but muddier walking and occasional camp closures, so we generally schedule this journey in the dry months.
